Position: Junior Sales Representative D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a
Junior Sales Representative
. The right candidate will be in training to manage the entire sales process and communicate with customers from the first interaction through the close of escrow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet and qualify visitors
Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites
Overcome sales objections and close sales
Document transactions
Track progress of loans, options, and construction
Respond to customer requests for information
Document cancellations
Maintain all lot and sales files
Monitor models and sales office for disclosures, supplies, repairs, etc.
Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve potential buyers and enhance company goodwill and profit
Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members
Implement policies to ensure quality standards compliance
Required Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; able to drive during day and night
Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on various devices
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and apply common sense
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, sit for extended periods, kneel, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; moderate noise level
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CRM software
Previous sales experience, industry knowledge preferred
Excellent communication skills
Highly motivated and team-oriented
