Key Responsibilities
Leads a highly focused sales team to achieve defined commercial objectives for an assigned market segment (medical, assembly automation, robotics).
Steer the entire sales process of business acquisition, customer inquiry processing, negotiations of terms and conditions, contract closing for delivery- and general contracts, and order processing in the assigned market segment.
Manage relationships with global sector leadership. Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate forecasts and reporting results on a monthly basis to all key stakeholders.
Ensure quotation preparation in his/her team including both technical and commercial aspects in the assigned market segment.
Responsibility for the negotiation and closing of framework contracts, which need to be approved by the corresponding managing level.
Direct the budget planning process and consolidation for the assigned market segment.
Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering), or a non-technical bachelor’s degree combined with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Proven experience in outside sales, including a track record of successful team leadership
Familiarity with rotary account strategy
Strong ability to influence decision-making and mediate conflict in a way that achieves mutually beneficial outcomes
Proficiency with CRM software and related systems
Demonstrated intrinsic drive for results, exceptional relationship-building skills, ability to influence at the leadership level, unwavering ethical standards, and agility within complex organizational structures
Willingness and availability to travel overnight up to 40% of the time
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship
