Job Summary: Acrisure is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support our growing Large Construction team in Pensacola, FL. The new employee may work a hybrid schedule out of any Florida office. Responsibilities
New Business
Assist clients with making coverage changes in an automated environment supported by imaging system; determine if delayed or advanced billing is appropriate and invoice accordingly, using each contact as an opportunity to review the whole account, round it, and market. Inform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs. Provide technical support to producer(s) to benefit clients and reach agency’s strategic business goals. Prepare proposals in coordination with producer(s). Submit applications to eligible and appropriate carriers. Obtain client signatures on applications as necessary; follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies. Manage clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items; verify their accuracy. Retention
Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account review. Remarkets renewals, contacts clients, creates renewal proposals and handles other renewal activities in coordination with the producer(s). Renew policies following agency standards. Verify each renewal’s accuracy; ensure that all renewals are produced. Review audits of policies; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections, as needed, between client and carrier. Maintain and update electronic and client activity files. Verify policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary. Process incoming mail requests, responding promptly and appropriately. Verify accuracy of all direct billed cancellations and take appropriate corrective action when needed. Use agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments. Process and follow up on cancellations requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution; maintain agency in financial equity whenever possible. Marketing
Leaves good documentation of all contacts. Refers current and prospective clients to Life/Benefits Department and to Personal Lines for solicitation of those lines of business. Assists in design of or independently designs insurance plans for clients as assigned and directed by the agency management or Producer. Assists or completes other tasks as directed by agency management or Producer. Attends meetings with Clients at their location as necessary. Personal and Organizational Development
Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities. Maintains a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co‑workers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts. Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance. Interacts with other effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency. Experience
Seven (7) or more years experience in a Commercial Lines Account Manager position supporting Complex, Large Construction clientele within the state of Florida required. Applied Epic proficiency required. CIC or CRIS designations, preferred. Must have an active P&C 2-20 License. Competencies
Full knowledge of insurance products and usage. Adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain and underwrite assigned client and prospect lists. Full knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets. Ability to carry out complex tasks with concrete and abstract variables. Excellent computer skills needed and must understand functionality. Functional Technical Skills - has functional and technical ability to do job at high level of accomplishment. Informing - provides information so that decisions can be made on a timely basis with accuracy. Time Management - uses time effectively and efficiently, concentrates efforts on more important priorities. Quantity of Output - amount of work is expected to meet goals on regular basis.
