Our client is seeking an experienced

Interim Controller

to lead and execute project-based accounting and finance initiatives. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels in managing complex financial projects, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Interim Controller will play a key role in stabilizing operations, optimizing reporting accuracy, and supporting strategic business decisions during periods of transition or growth. Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee project-based accounting initiatives, including system implementations, process redesigns, and financial reporting improvements. Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP and accurately reflect business performance. Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, financial procedures, and operational efficiencies. Support consolidation and reporting efforts, ensuring data integrity and consistency across entities. Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial practices with operational and strategic goals. Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to accounting teams during transitional or high-volume periods. Qualifications

CPA preferred or equivalent experience in senior-level accounting leadership. Strong technical accounting background with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Proven success managing financial projects, system implementations, and process improvements. Experience with consolidation and reporting systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment across departments. Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and deliver results under tight deadlines.
