Senior Accountant

KBW Financial has partnered with a reputable organization based out of Plymouth County, MA, that is actively looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team! The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and assist with financial statements, GAAP compliance, and reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will perform the following responsibilities: Prepare and review month-end and quarter-end financial statements to ensure accuracy in reporting of income, expenses, and other key financial data Perform complex general ledger reconciliations at month-end to support accurate accrual recognition and expense reporting Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP by applying relevant standards to own work and reviewing outputs from support staff Contribute to annual audits and quarterly reviews by compiling required financial data, resolving outstanding issues, and drafting assigned report sections Review reconciliations for assigned groups to verify accuracy and consistency, and take corrective action on discrepancies as needed Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows and recommend enhancements to streamline processes All interested candidates should submit resumes in Word format via email to Jimmy Oates at joates@kbwfinancial.com.
