KBW Financial has partnered with a reputable organization based out of Plymouth County, MA, that is actively looking to add an Accounting Manager to their growing team! The Accounting Manager will report to the Senior Manager and will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, and other duties as assigned. The Accounting Manager will perform the following:
Lead the analysis and reporting of all non-standard cost of goods sold (COGS) variances on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Oversee the annual standard cost update, including development, execution, and release
Supervise accounting staff and ensure appropriate cross-training to support budget and reforecast activities for non-standard COGS accounts
Perform month-end general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate recognition and reporting of complex accruals and related expenses
Review account reconciliations for accuracy, consistency, and compliance across assigned areas
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) through review of staff work and application of standards to own responsibilities
Recommend and implement process improvements related to COGS reporting and financial analysis
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and finance, with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
