Responsibilities:
Perform monthly account balancing and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Prepare and process customer invoices and purchase statements for timely settlement.
Manage inter-company transactions and settlements.
Post SAP journal entries, accruals, netbacks, and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Provide accounting support and financial analysis during monthly close and for Financial Planning & Analysis (F&PA).
Prepare and submit regulatory financial reports in compliance with relevant standards.
Participate in special projects related to Crude Supply and Trading as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, open trade floor environment.
Willingness to work additional hours during financial close and settlement periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of SAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
CMA or CGA designation considered an asset.
