Accounting Controller — Construction | On-Site in Corona, CA Are you a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment? We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Controller to oversee all aspects of financial operations, reporting, and compliance for our Corona-based team. This is a key leadership role where your expertise will directly impact business decisions, operational efficiency, and financial strategy. What You’ll Do

Lead and manage daily accounting operations — A/P, A/R, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting. Prepare and review monthly construction draw packages, AIA G702/703 applications, lien releases, and supporting schedules. Drive accurate and timely month-end and year-end closes, ensuring reliable financial statements and reporting. Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy to support company goals. Maintain robust internal controls, ensuring compliance and safeguarding company assets. Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and growth. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies as needed. What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred. 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and construction accounting. Proficiency in Sage 300, Procore, Textura, or RealPage a strong plus. Advanced Excel skills and fluency in Microsoft Office. Strategic thinker with sharp analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
