The Group Housing Manager assists the sales, events, and front desk/reservations teams by managing all group guestroom blocks and overseeing rooms/suite inventory to maximize hotel profitability. This role involves working directly with clients for housing needs and supporting guests with reservation inquiries. Core responsibilities include: Create reservation links and upload rooming lists. Manage reservations, create packages, and collaborate with accounting for billing. Confirm payment methods and route charges appropriately. Manage cutoff reservations and communicate with clients. Update check-in systems with earned comps and manage group restrictions in MARSHA. Perform regular audits, host weekly meetings, and maintain group projections. Handle FIT reservations, prepare forecasts, and maintain system balances. Maintain mini hotels, respond to requests promptly, and track activities. Coordinate VIP blocks, provide guest hospitality, and assist sales efforts. Order office supplies, create sales files, and ensure smooth turnover processes. Perform additional duties as assigned. This description is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed. The salary ranges from $68,640 to $72,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Qualifications include: High school diploma; 2-3 years hospitality experience preferred. Experience with Marriott or Sheraton systems. Skills in guest service, reservation processing, and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
