Responsibilities
Loan analysis and decision making: Collect and analyze customer loan applications, credit worthiness, collateral valuation, and financial statements to approve, decline, or recommend loans within the guidelines of the Private Banking Loan Policy; ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Branch Support & Internal Consultation: Serve as the primary contact for branch employees when working with an existing business client regarding their personal needs; collaborate with an internal specialist to create and implement solutions to meet clients' needs and contribute to branch performance.
Relation Ownership & Development: Act as co-owner of client relationships, providing personalized financial service while staying updated on the overall relationship with the bank; resolve client inquiries and issues; conduct regular joint portfolio reviews with the appropriate commercial teammates to align with client objectives.
Process Improvement & Product Offering: Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline banking services, enhance efficiency, and improve customer experience; identify opportunities to improve or add products and services that meet current client demands or better position the bank to obtain additional client relationships.
Training & Communication: Communicate regularly with clients and with the appropriate commercial teammates or branch staff to help ensure that the bank presents an educated and united front when interacting with customers; ensure branch staff understand clients' needs, loan policies, and best practices to ensure smooth transactions in all client relations.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with all customers and your team of bank associates.
Support customers and Landmark National Bank's success by promptly, accurately, and confidentially delivering bank products and services, including accepting, inputting, and closing consumer loan requests, opening and maintaining accounts, data entry, issuing debit cards, resetting online banking passwords, initiating wires, and completing second-day checklists.
Accountable for implementing all regulatory requirements and procedures.
Utilize a 7 Step Conversation to promote bank products and services, including role play, completing Weekly Checklist and Needs Solved Sheets.
Engage in Landmark National Bank culture initiatives and team success activities, including Daily Huddles, leading when assigned, Weekly Rally Meetings, and Hoopla events.
Manage professional improvement through the Quarterly Job Progress Plan and consistently meet minimum, target, and optimum levels of performance.
Represent the bank well in the community.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of all banking products.
Proactive approach to establish tailored, long-term client relationships.
Ability to collaborate with the team, other bank divisions, and bank leadership.
Experience with loan analysis and understanding of regulatory guidelines and internal policies is desirable.
