Overview
Tarvos Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing fund services firm that is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a team of accountants, manage fund reporting, and drive process improvements within a dynamic and expanding organization. The Assistant Controller will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely reporting for clients while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the overall growth of the accounting function. Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and coordinate core fund accounting functions in partnership with the Controller and senior leadership. Oversee and mentor a team of Senior Accountants, providing guidance, training, and professional development. Ensure accurate and timely calculation of Fund NAVs and investor reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis. Manage annual audit and tax reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulations. Build and maintain relationships with third-party administrators, auditors, tax providers, subadvisors, and internal teams. Partner with leadership to strengthen internal controls, implement process automation, and enhance operational efficiency. Contribute to the growth of the accounting department, aligning practices with other top-tier fund administrators. Qualifications
CPA required. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with alternative investments, hedge funds, or financial markets; or Publice Accounting background auditing investment funds/managers. Proven success in building and managing teams. Advanced Excel skills; QuickBooks familiarity helpful. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across a diverse, international team. Contact : Please reach out to
