We are looking for a
Controller
to work for our Central Ohio client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Responsibilities: Supervise all accounting activities to ensure adherence to accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Responsible for maintaining an effective internal control environment in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements Advise on financial analyses and decision-making regarding capital investments, pricing, contract negotiations, significant costs, benchmarks, and other matters with management Consistently analyze financial data and present financial results. Report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement results compared to budget and prior year to the executive management team. Prepare annual budgets and current forecasts. Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; understands the company's strengths & weaknesses; identifies external threats and opportunities; adapts strategy to changing conditions. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of finance or accounting experience 4+ years of management experience CPA required Sound knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, rules, regulations, policies, and best practices. Possess a high level of integrity and judgment and discretion with sensitive and confidential information. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and data-driven environment.
