Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and perform variance analysis. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and file tax documents, including sales and use tax returns. Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation. Assist with the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and procedures. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred. 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a related role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. What We Offer
