Title: Senior Accountant, External Reporting
Location: Morristown, NJ
Salary: to $95K plus bonus compensation

Overview
Leading publicly traded client is hiring a Senior Accountant in a highly visible role. 1 - 3 years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting desired. Responsibilities
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure information utilized in external reporting is accurate. Collaborate with internal accounting teams to update disclosures and related reporting. Oversee pension and lease accounting compliance and reporting. Partner with team members within accounting to coordinate the close process. Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 11-K. Monitor changes in SEC and FASB reporting requirements. Remain current with SEC and U.S. GAAP reporting requirements. Liaise with external auditors. Provide finance and accounting expertise on reporting-related issues. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or a publicly traded corporate accounting or financial reporting team. CPA a plus but not required.
