Job Summary An Assistant Property Manager and Leasing Agent supports daily property operations by handling leasing, tenant communication, maintenance coordination, and basic financial tasks. This role involves working closely with current and prospective residents to ensure the property is well-maintained, fully occupied, and running smoothly.

Position Type:
Part-time (30-32 hours per week)
Pay rate:
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Available to work Weekends
Show units, assist with applications, prepare lease agreements, and manage move-in/move-out processes
Respond to tenant inquiries, resolve complaints, and promote positive resident experiences
Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee property repairs
Assist with rent collection, invoice processing, and financial reporting
Manage calls, correspondence, records, and provide general office support
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including fair housing and lease agreements
Support marketing efforts to attract tenants and maintain occupancy
Collaborate with the property manager and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations
Other tasks assigned by the Property Manager or Regional Supervisor
Qualifications
Experience in property management or leasing
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of property management software is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
