Senior Accountant role at CFS. A growing Home Care Service company is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial operations and reporting. Reporting to the Controller, this role manages day-to-day accounting functions and contributes to process improvements. Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr. Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Oversee accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank accounts. Assist with month-end/year-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP and financial regulations. Collaborate with leadership to improve accounting processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3–5 years of accounting experience; healthcare or service industry a plus. Strong GAAP knowledge; proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks/Paychex preferred). Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups). Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Location: Midtown Manhattan. In-office 4 days a week.
