Cost Accounting Supervisor
to lead critical accounting functions and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor two direct reports (staff accountant level), fostering professional growth Own and execute accurate cost accounting, including WIP, raw materials, and labor Manage inventory accounting and coordinate physical inventory at 2–3 plants annually Drive the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Perform general ledger functions including journal entries and reconciliations Analyze cost data to highlight variances and support process improvements Play a key role in validating and testing data during a system conversion Partner with auditors to support internal and external reviews
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation) Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations Exposure to physical inventories across multiple sites Previous leadership experience or a natural ability to guide others
