Accounting Specialist – Johnstown, OH (Onsite)
$24–$32/hr | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm | Temporary (6 Months)

Base pay range $24.00/hr - $32.00/hr
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Johnstown, OH. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting finance and accounting operations across the organization. You’ll play a key role in assisting with month-end close, managing AP/AR, supporting manufacturing cost analysis, and partnering with the business management team to drive operational and financial performance.
What You’ll Do
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Maintain inter-company billings and reconciliations
Support time sheet collection, labor reporting, and analysis
Assist with inventory management, cycle counting, and annual physical inventory
Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and journal entries
Support budget preparation and monitoring
Partner with HR and operations teams on administrative and process-related tasks
Participate in cost reduction projects and other initiatives as needed
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of accounting experience; experience in AR/AP strongly preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite (SAP, Epicor, or Power BI a plus)
Open to new accounting graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience
