A leading manufacturer with over $1B in annual revenue is seeking a detail-oriented
Senior Cost Analyst
to join its high-performing finance team in Charlotte. This role will support strategic decision-making by delivering accurate cost insights, driving margin improvement, and enhancing operational efficiency across multiple production sites. Key Responsibilities
Analyze product and operational costs across manufacturing lines and facilities Prepare and maintain standard cost models, BOMs, and variance reports Partner with operations and supply chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities Support monthly close activities related to inventory, COGS, and production variances Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Provide actionable insights to leadership through dashboards and reporting tools Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience in cost analysis or manufacturing finance Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools a plus Seniority level
