Resolve Accounts Receivable and Collections issues Review, follow up, and appeal denied claims according to company standards Determine accuracy of insurance payments and follow up on discrepancies Communicate with practices and payers regarding claim denials and trends Build and generate reports as needed What is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary degree preferred Minimum of 2 years current experience interpreting insurance explanations of benefits and patient benefit plans Minimum of 2 years current experience working with medical claims, billing, collections, and appeals, with OB/GYN specialty preferred Experience with healthcare practice management systems; Athenanet preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with cloud‑based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology; Salesforce preferred Knowledge of commercial and governmental insurance payer and clearinghouse portals including billing guidelines and policy updates Working knowledge of Medical Billing & Coding; certification preferred EEO Statement
