keep accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents, ensuring proper accounting procedures are followed. Process Transactions:
handle payments (accounts payable), billings/invoices/deposits (accounts receivable), journal entries, cash management, and bank reconciliations. Data Entry and Reporting:
input financial data into accounting software and generate reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), including reports for tax purposes. Reconcile Accounts:
ensure financial records match bank statements and other sources. Invoicing and Billing:
calculate and process invoices and related documents. Manage Client and Vendor Accounts:
maintain records of client and vendor accounts. Payroll:
facilitate time entry, manage deductions, and process payroll through a payroll service. Bookkeeping and General Accounting:
perform additional bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed. Skills Microsoft Excel Cash flow management Invoicing and billing systems Payroll processing Accounts receivable and payable Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry. Proficiency in accounting software (Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint preferred) and Microsoft Office 365. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and math skills. High professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
