Bachelor's degree (must apply and be accepted in one of many graduate programs at Sul Ross State University). Have previous collegiate soccer experience either playing or coaching. Standard office machines; computer skills. Ability to assist and/or direct practices and workouts.

Preferred

Additional or other related experience. Participated or helped coach soccer camps for any age groups. Word processing, database, and spreadsheet computer program skills.

Summary

Primary Responsibilities

Function: Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the Lonestar Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for men's soccer.

Scope: The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Men's Soccer Coach. In this role, the successful applicant will be working closely with the student-athletes at SRSU.

Duties

Essential: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assist in practice and game planning and preparation; assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes; support of student-athlete success on the court and in the classroom; hospitality and travel management; help setup and teardown of game operations; and other duties as assigned.

The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
