Graduate Assistant - Rodeo position at Inside Higher Ed. Location: Alpine. Salary: $1,000-$1,250 depending on credit hours completed. Posting Date: 09/01/2025 | End Date: 05/31/2026 | Until Filled: Yes | Appointment Date: 09/01/2025 Responsibilities

The graduate assistantship supports rodeo activities. The graduate student will assist with practice and student instruction as directed by the coach and assistant coach. Serve as a graduate assistant to the SRSU Rodeo Coach and attend and contribute to practice and athlete development. Attend and lead practice, prep for practice and team meetings, mentor rodeo athletes, and check in with athletes on class performance. Provide support in and out of the arena for undergraduate rodeo student athletes. Coordinate with the rodeo coach to guide and direct activities. Travel to out-of-town college rodeos may be required as needed. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; exercise caution and practice safe work habits at all times. May work weekends and some holidays. Position is security sensitive. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree in progress. Must be located on the Alpine campus, even if the Master’s is online. Must have competed in college rodeo. Other Information
