Overview

Very successful manufacturing company has an outstanding opportunity in the Memphis, TN area for a Plant Controller. This position will have 5-6 direct reports. Objective: Manage the financial operations and accounting activities, providing accurate and timely reporting. This role involves financial management and analysis, cost, budgeting and ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations, as well as company policies. Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into the company\'s financial performance. Assist in identifying opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement. Work with tax professionals to ensure compliance with tax regulations. Coordinate and participate in the physical inventory Responsible for all audits, whether internal or external. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support management\'s decision-making. Develop and manage the budgeting and forecasting process. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and timely collections from customers. Manage and lead the finance and accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide analysis and recommendations for variances. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. Coordinate and oversee financial audits. Manage the general ledger system, chart of accounts, and account reconciliation processes. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles. Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash forecasting and working capital management. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (a master\'s degree or CPA certification may be preferred). Several years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles. Excelent computer skills (MSO applications, excel min. intermediate, pivot tables, vlook up, etc.) Knowledge of credit analysis, financial statements, and credit risk assessment. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to credit and collections. Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management. Compensation
