Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our client; a publicly traded manufacturing company. This role will prepare SEC filings, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support the quarterly and annual external reporting process. The ideal candidate will bring experience with financial reporting in a public company environment. Pay transparency and base compensation details are provided below for context and may be adjusted by the recruiter based on skills and experience. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Additional compensation
Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and related disclosures. Prepare financial statement footnotes and supplemental schedules. Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and analytical reviews of financial results. Support quarterly and annual audits by preparing PBC schedules and liaising with external auditors. Support technical accounting research and implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Contribute to process improvements, internal control enhancements, and reporting efficiencies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, audit, or accounting. Experience working with or auditing publicly traded companies. SEC reporting experience (10-Q, 10-K, disclosures) strongly preferred. CPA preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; technical accounting exposure is a plus. Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. Pay Transparency Statement: The compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
