Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 7+ years of accounting experience, CPA, and a high attention to detail. This company offers growth opportunities, flexibility, and a hybrid work environment.

The salary range for this position is $145k-170k.

The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the general ledger, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including both on-site and remote staff.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts, and data integrity in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Develop and enhance scalable processes to consistently achieve a streamlined month-end close.
• Execute full managerial duties including team development, workload planning, delegation, and performance management.
• Partner with financial planning and analysis teams during the annual budgeting process and provide support for monthly variance reporting.
• Contribute to US GAAP interim and year-end reporting, including technical accounting research
• Other duties as assigned.

The Senior Accounting Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelors degree in accounting or closely related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience.
• Possess problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills/management experience.
• Experience with Salesforce preferred.
• CPA license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy
