Overview
GPI Geospatial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Administrator to manage the accounting for all regional offices from the Charlotte, NC office. This is an on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. GPI Geospatial is a multi-discipline engineering firm providing planning, design, and construction services for transportation infrastructure and building system projects. Run and send bi-weekly labor reports to various groups. Schedule and attend bi-weekly overhead labor meetings and process labor transfers. Monthly invoicing: run reports, share links with Project Managers for active projects, finalize invoices, package them, and send to clients. All invoicing is done in Deltek VantagePoint. Update earnings for revenue generation and note multiplier variances. Assist other Billers with billing questions or Project Manager discussions. Revenue review: review projects for the entire branch and discuss multiplier variances/comments with other billers. Income Statement Account Review: review the Income Statement and analyze accounts for accuracy; research discrepancies as needed. Prepare monthly earnings reports for Senior Management and participate in earnings meetings. Address corporate questions on earnings with support from Project Managers and/or Director. File monthly sales tax return (FL) and annual WV return. Aged ARs: monthly review and follow-up with Project Managers and clients. Bi-annual budget: collaborate with the Branch Manager on the budget exercise. Address corporate quarterly and annual audit requests. Attend corporate accounting meetings/training sessions. Supervise and train Accounting Assistants. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting management experience. Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Position Details
