KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is working with a rapidly growing, service based client in Portland, Maine seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist will handle full-cycle AP processing and help manage vendor relationships, invoice discrepancies and ensure payables are paid on time and are in good order. The right candidate will bring full cycle AP experience, along with the ability to research and resolve both simple and complex invoice issues.

Responsibilities For The Accounts Payable Specialist Position
Process full-cycle accounts payable accurately and efficiently Manage and strengthen vendor relationships Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies Perform account reconciliations as part of monthly close Collaborate with team members to improve AP processes
Qualifications
2+ years of Full Cycle Accounts Payable experience Strong communication skills, especially in working with vendors High attention to detail and ability to problem-solve independently Experience handling both simple and complex AP invoices Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Intermediate Excel knowledge (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
Pay:
$22.00-$25.00hr. based on experience
