About The Position: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing high-volume invoices and purchase order processing and payment, vendor onboarding, bank reconciliations and relationships management to ensure smooth financial operations. The role is ideal for individuals with experience in bookkeeping within the energy, construction, or development sectors, with solid understanding of multi-entity multi-project accounting. Manage the company’s outgoing expenses and ensure that all invoices are recorded, processed and paid promptly and accurately according to the semi-monthly payment schedule and reconciled to the project's budget. Assist with month end duties, book journal entries relating to cash and intercompany transactions. Moreover, the role will include compliance with reporting and preparation of reports to the different tax and state authorities. This position is based in Austin, TX (Onsite) and reports to the U.S Managing Director of the company with close collaboration with U.S Controller and professional guidance of the finance team located in company’s HQ in Israel. Key Responsibilities: Process and record purchase orders and vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding of expenses across entities, projects, and cost categories. Assist by processing payments to vendors per company policies via ACH or wire. Support vendor onboarding, ensuring requisite documentation is in order, including contracts, W-9s and other supporting documents. Support month-end processing, weekly reconciliations, account analysis, and reporting. Reconciling monthly payable reports to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate Solving payment or invoice discrepancies and documentation Prepare ad hoc analyses and perform other duties as required or assigned. Handle ongoing reporting and compliance with tax and state authorities. Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in project-based operations, construction, development, or capital asset-intensive business. Associate/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field – an advantage. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in a high-visibility role. Must be competent in Microsoft Excel advanced features and capabilities. Must be detail-oriented, show initiative, and be highly organized working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Working-level knowledge of 1099 requirements and processes. Experience with advanced ERP systems and processing requirements.
