Overview

Senior Compensation Analyst – hybrid remote, Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA. Project manager and analytical expert developing compensation and total rewards across the organization. Reports to the Director, Compensation. Responsibilities

Represent the Compensation team as an influential collaborator on cross‑functional projects with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Operations, Communications, and IT to achieve desired business outcomes. Deliver effective, accurate, and competitive pay programs to Associates and Optometrists in support of patient care. Design, implement, and maintain MyEyeDr.’s job architecture, career levels, and pay bands in collaboration with management and HR Business Partners. Audit jobs for content and prepare job descriptions reflecting responsibilities, duties, and requirements. Own survey management and market analysis of MyEyeDr’s jobs to determine competitive positioning and recommend base pay changes. Responsible for data implementation, auditing, data validation, and system analytics. Guide leaders through the job evaluation process, including quality controls for job classification for both exiting and newly created positions as well as auditing existing classifications. Provide guidance to management regarding salary changes associated with promotions, demotions, transfers, and relocations as well as market and equity adjustments. Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation‑related concerns. Monitor regulatory legislation and audit to identify potential compensatory, operational, and financial impacts. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations (Minimum Wage, FLSA, EEO‑1, Wage & Hour). Monitor cost of wage geographic differentials. Own the planning and administration of annual salary review cycles, manage off‑cycle processes and budget preparation. Ensure compensation programs follow internal and external regulations and policies. Support the design, communication, and implementation of incentive plans. Create and modify compensation operation policies, guidelines, procedures, and compliance documentation. Lead projects that support compensation design, including data collection, analysis, presentation development, communication, and program implementation. Provide recurring and ad‑hoc HR reports and statistics as needed. Develop variable pay plans, various incentive metrics, analyses, and account reconciliations. Audit and maintain quota tracking reports, changes, and pay plan adjustments. Calculate monthly and quarterly commission payments for participants on a variable compensation plan. Assist with compilation of monthly financial reporting, forecasts, and budget preparation. Maintain strict confidentiality. Support additional Total Rewards projects and programs as required. Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience in analysis, design, and administration of compensation programs, including job architecture and multiple surveys. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) preferred. Strong auditing and incentive/commission calculation experience. Strong analytic and quantitative skills, with a track record of managing compensation projects. Able to audit and analyze large data sets efficiently. Working knowledge of Dayforce preferred; knowledge of HRIS systems required. Strong business acumen, analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills, including keen judgment and decision‑making, with an eye toward process efficiency and simplification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be influential with impactful presentation skills. Advanced Microsoft Office experience: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, regression analysis, and nested function statements. Detail‑oriented strategic thinker and strong with data and analytics. Ability to capture and analyze large compensation data files and create Excel‑based models, proficient with complex formulas. Must produce high‑quality work in a fast‑paced, growth environment. Travel up to 10% of the time may be required. Benefits
