About this Role – IT Support Specialist We are looking for a talented IT Support Specialist I who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for providing system support to the MJE IT Department and be the primary point of contact for all IT help desk issues. This position will allow IT to provide better / timelier service to our end users in helping resolve computer related issues.
What You’ll Do
User moves, adds and changes within the environment
Desk side system and network administration
Handle hardware/software, printing, and application issues
Check of successful backup, antiviral and system update deployments
Create user documentation and training when necessary
Document and train users on various I.T. related functions
Provide technical support to end users
Setup and Maintain users device including laptops, desktops, tablets, printers and mobile smartphones
Log all support calls and resolution in call tracking system
Assist remote employees with network/VPN connectivity issues
Aid in the upgrade/management of servers, and infrastructure as needed
Additional duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ and/or MCP preferred
Cisco CCNA Certification preferred
Familiar with cloud concepts and platforms such as Azure and Intune
Familiar with multiple LLM’s and the creation of custom agents
Familiar with PowerShell and Python for system administration
Familiar with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and OneDrive
Excellent Communications Skills
Proficiency in Documenting Processes
Basic networking troubleshooting
Demonstrated multi‑tasking and data entry skills, and prioritizing
Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficient in the Microsoft Office productivity suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Power BI, and Project)
Desire for Growth – Expand your skillset
Associates Degree or Technology certification (4‑year degree preferred)
1‑3 years of experience in desk side or help desk troubleshooting support role
Basic Network Experience (Route/Switch, IP)
Experience with Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server.
