Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Sparks, NV (On-site preferred; hybrid flexibility available)
Type: Full-time, Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Pay: Based on experience and software proficiency
What You’ll Do
Process 250–300 invoices per month with precision and timeliness
Manage collections and follow up on outstanding payments
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Review customer accounts to ensure compliance with contract terms
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy
Assist with month‑end close and generate AR reports
Compile project billing matrices and maintain system updates
Analyze aging reports and support financial decision‑making
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in high‑volume accounts receivable
Ability to read and interpret contracts and billing terms
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities
Preferred: Experience in aerospace, defense, or military sectors
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for formal education
