We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Retirement Plan Administrator position in our Vincennes, Indiana office. Candidates may be considered for fully onsite or hybrid schedules. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Retirement Plan Administrator to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of client retirement plans. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations. The Retirement Plan Administrator will also serve as a key resource for plan administration, reporting, and participant support. Job Responsibilities Administer defined contribution retirement plans (401(k), profit sharing, etc.), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Prepare and review annual plan filings, including Form 5500, compliance testing, and contribution calculations. Maintain participant records, process distributions, loans, enrollments, and contribution changes. Provide guidance and support to plan sponsors and participants regarding plan features, rules, and compliance requirements. Monitor plan operations to ensure adherence to ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations. Collaborate with payroll, HR, and external providers (recordkeepers, custodians, auditors, and advisors). Assist with plan design changes, amendments, and compliance corrections when needed. Prepare and present plan reporting and documentation to internal and external stakeholders. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in retirement plan administration. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or related field preferred. 2–5 years of experience in a professional business role. Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL rules and regulations governing qualified retirement plans. Proficiency with retirement plan recordkeeping systems. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex retirement plan concepts to plan sponsors and participants. ASPPA, NIPA, or CEBS certification (QKA, QPA, or similar) a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Pay and Benefits Our employees play an integral role in our success as a firm.
