Position Details
There are two positions located at the Gymnastic Center requiring working varied hours Monday through Saturday, including nights and weekends. Job Responsibilities
Teach instructional gymnastics classes on an age-appropriate level and through skill progressions. Tasks include taking class attendance, preparing class lesson plans, evaluating and recommending students for progression to higher levels. Provide customer service by offering information or assistance regarding services, activities, forms, procedures, fees, or other issues. Respond to routine questions and complaints, research problems, initiate resolutions, and refer issues to appropriate personnel. Process participant registrations, court reservations, tournament registrations, and other scheduled services and events. Review registration forms for accuracy, enter data into online databases and calendars, collect and record fees, and maintain documentation. Prepare facilities according to the daily schedule, including opening and closing the facility, unlocking and locking doors, turning lights on or off, disarming and setting alarms, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs, and performing routine cleaning duties. Maintain attendance and punctuality within customary tolerances. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred; supplemented by experience working with children, as an instructor/coach, or athlete. Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in evaluating information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria. Sensory Requirements
Tasks may require perceiving and discriminating colors, sounds, tastes, odors, depth, texture, and visual cues. Communication may involve oral skills. Environmental Factors
Performance may involve exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, fumes, noise, and electrical currents. EEO Statement
