Overview Working hours: 730 AM - 400 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekends when necessary.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Power Systems Division rental fleet while at the Altorfer shop, including all units (generators and related equipment such as compressors, chillers, A/C, heaters, cables, distribution, and more).
Check in/check out rental fleet units, ensure unit readiness (functional performance and appearance), and perform basic troubleshooting/preventative maintenance.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers to ensure expectations are met.
Deliver and assist with loading and unloading project components on the customer’s job site.
Assist with setup, basic troubleshooting, and repairs if needed.
Coordinate with other service and parts sources when ordering unit parts or services to repair/fix returned fleet units.
Complete rental documentation for the unit’s status and maintain Power Systems records.
Performs other related duties as requested and/or assigned.
Qualifications
Completion of a formal technical training program or a minimum of three years’ relevant experience (preferred).
Previous experience in fields related to electronic diesel engines, fuel systems, generators, air compressors, heaters, air conditioning, etc. (preferred).
Computer literacy required; familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and CAT programs.
Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment.
Excellent planning and organizational skills; must take initiative, be team-oriented, and adaptable to change.
Ability to respond to callouts, and work overtime and weekends when needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; own basic tools are required.
CDL is preferred but not required.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR checked for final candidates; no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years, no major violations in past 5 years).

Pay rate: $29.45 - $44.56 per hour.
This position will work in a field/shop environment and at customer job sites. May be required to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs. Must wear appropriate safety equipment (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection). The work environment may have moderate to high noise levels. Flexible to work varying schedules. Occasional travel may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
