Materials Tech at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth: The Materials Technician is responsible for the procurement for all supplies in the hospital with the exception of food and drugs. The responsibility of the position includes ordering and receiving of supplies, stocking supplies and assisting Accounts Payable with invoice packets. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic person. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares appropriate documentation for product returns to vendors Transfers products between departments Receives purchases orders Receives products into Materials Management Information System Stocks storeroom and readies stock for distribution Verifies and documents all deliveries of supplies, equipment and various goods to the hospital Maintains log of departments receiving goods Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma, or equivalent Licensure/Certification

Certification in Surgical Technology preferred 1-2 years of experience in the field of surgical technology preferred One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Two years minimum receiving and inventory experience in a health care environment preferred Strong Customer Service Background What We Offer
