Overview
This role supports financial operations by managing the full accounts receivable cycle and providing treasury support. Responsibilities include accurate invoicing, payment processing, deposit tracking, bank account administration, and compliance with internal controls. The position plays a key role in maintaining cash flow, financial accuracy, and supporting decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Prepare and send invoices across multiple entities, including recurring contracts, lease commissions, bill backs, project-specific, and ad hoc charges. Ensure invoices are accurate, documented, and issued on schedule by coordinating with leasing, property management, and project teams. Record all incoming payments (checks, ACH, wires), apply them to customer accounts, and post to the general ledger. Reconcile AR ledgers and bank deposits, investigate discrepancies, and follow up with customers as needed. Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, and maintain communication logs. Support month-end close with AR reporting and revenue reconciliations. Develop and improve AR processes and documentation in collaboration with the Senior Accountant. Treasury Support Assist with opening/closing bank accounts and updating authorized signers. Set up and process ACH/wire payments; manage stop-payment requests. Support implementation of positive pay and automated bank reconciliation. Monitor bank fees, optimize account structures, and support cash flow efficiency. Document treasury procedures and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong experience in AR, treasury, or general accounting experience. Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (Yardi, QuickBooks preferred). Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. Professional interaction with internal teams, clients, and financial institutions.
