Job Title
Senior Accountant
– Contract-to-Hire (Addison Group)
Location Nashville, TN (100% in office)
Job Type Contract-to-Hire
Compensation $38–$42 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure accurate general ledger activity.
Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Review and process accounts payable transactions and vendor invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, and aging report analysis.
Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis.
Support month-end and year-end close by preparing reconciliations, reports, and documentation.
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing requested work papers and ensuring compliance with policies.
Contribute to process improvements and best practices for accounting operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency with property management software and advanced Excel skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
