Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Deployment Network Engineer
to support the design, deployment, and implementation of advanced network systems for federal and enterprise clients. This role involves hands-on engineering, collaboration with Microsoft and customer teams, and travel to domestic and international sites. Location for this role is

and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities for Deployment Network Engineer: Assist O&M Network Engineers in delivering technical presentations to customer staff. Design and write code for customer network systems as needed. Support infrastructure design and deployment activities across various environments. Develop system documentation aligned with customer objectives and technical requirements. Participate in hands-on installation and implementation of network systems. Collaborate with Microsoft and customer personnel to support technical strategies and control objectives. Apply certified training and product knowledge of Microsoft technologies to deployment efforts. Qualifications for Deployment Network Engineer: U.S. Citizenship required with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience. 3–5 years of demonstrated performance in network engineering roles. Proficient in CLI navigation, device configuration, patch deployment, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols; capable of mapping networks for efficiency and resiliency. Experience with cloud networking technologies including ExpressRoute and Azure Virtual Networks. Familiarity with traditional networking components such as on-prem appliances and media converters. Skilled in cable management, rack elevations, and creating network diagrams. Knowledge of network security appliances and traffic management methodologies. Expertise in WAN/Internet transport and routing technologies including BGP, MPLS, and SD-WAN (Juniper preferred). No issues identifying cable colors, markings, or labels. Compensation: $130,000-$170,000-flexible based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
