Required Qualifications
5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA
4 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
2 years of experience using Cameo Enterprise Architect or equivalent modeling tools
Working knowledge of DoDAF 2.0.2 and UAF metamodels, including how architectural elements are defined and related
Experience working within a tiered architecture environment with permission-based locking structures
Familiarity with SysML modeling techniques
Active/Current Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
Formal training in DoDAF, UAF, or NoMagic/Cameo modeling
Familiarity with Dassault Systèmes’ NoMagic Cameo training offerings
Experience contributing to architecture products on large, complex DoD programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established modeling conventions and workflows
Peraton is seeking an Architect Modeler who will play a key role in developing and maintaining architecture models that support system design, integration, and mission assurance activities. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary architecture team, they will contribute to the creation and management of DoDAF- and UAF-compliant architectures using Cameo Enterprise Architect or similar tools.
Responsibilities
Perform architecture modeling activities in Cameo Enterprise Architect, including SysML-based modeling aligned with program requirements
Support the preparation of Architecture Review Board (ARB) deliverables, ensuring consistency with DoDAF/UAF standards
Work within established project metamodels, identifying and correctly linking architectural elements in accordance with defined relationships
Operate effectively in a tiered architecture environment that leverages permission-based locks for distributed collaboration
Collaborate with senior modelers and lead architects to ensure architecture products meet quality, traceability, and program objectives
