Scope

Work with consultant/research vendors to provide strategic guidance in building VMO processes & capabilities. Directly work with high value IT vendors, senior client executives, DAS, IT oversight, LFO and business partners. Research best tools and recommend best contract management software, including metrics across key performance indicators (KPIs). Research, develop KPI analysis, develop system stand reports, share best practices to improve vendor performance. Handle internal contract‑related complaints or disagreements from the business or other internal stakeholders. Classify, rationalize, and optimize the vendor portfolio, concentrating efforts on managing the most strategic vendors. Create vendor contract, performance, relationship and risk management procedures. Inform IT vendor managers/procurement and business operations about market research reports on sourcing methods, products, and potential vendors while conducting vendor analysis. Assist internal alignment with key leadership, IT oversight on vendor management value. Obtain consistent visibility of vendor engagements and opportunities within the client, including IT oversight agencies.

Tasks

Produce a weekly update: summary of accomplishments, upcoming tasks, progress against milestones, identified issues/risks and mitigation plan. Gainwell QBR: Analyze client and Gainwell ratings, document significant changes, provide weekly milestone updates, prepare QBR presentation materials for VMO lead, coordinate post‑QBR survey analysis and update milestone due dates. Develop, in conjunction with VMO leader, a staff and support plan to maintain the Microsoft QBR, identifying relevant contracts, scoring methodology, templates, responsible parties and a clear timeline. Microsoft: Identify DAS/EIS contract administrators for M365, Azure Cloud and Dynamics, request contracts, evaluate relevancy within the QBR process, and create a scorecard with SLAs and performance KPIs. Develop a staffing plan for the development and maintenance of Microsoft and Gainwell QBR activities. Post‑survey analysis report: outline findings, identify issues, propose changes or modifications, and provide feedback to owners and business partners.
