Location & Duration Salem, OR - Hybrid 12‑Month Contract (W2)

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic guidance in building VMO processes & capabilities.

Work directly with high‑value IT vendors, senior client executives, DAS, IT oversight, LFO and business partners.

Research best contract‑management tools, recommend software that houses all executed & under‑development contracts, and develop clear KPI metrics across all vendors.

Develop KPI analysis, system‑stand reports, and best‑practice practices to improve vendor performance.

Handle internal contract‑related complaints or disagreements from the business or other internal stakeholders.

Classify, rationalize, and optimize the vendor portfolio, concentrating efforts on managing the most strategic vendors.

Create vendor contract, performance, relationship and risk‑management procedures.

Inform IT vendor managers/procurement and business operations about market‑research insights on sourcing methods, products, and potential vendors while conducting vendor analysis.

Assist internal alignment with key leadership, IT oversight on vendor‑management value.

Obtain consistent visibility of vendor engagements and opportunities within the client, including IT oversight agencies.

Drive improved contractual performance, additional SLAs, and better terms & conditions to enhance vendor relationships.

Weekly Contractor Tasks

Produce a weekly update containing a summary of accomplishments, next week’s tasks, progress against milestones, identified risks, and a mitigation plan.

Analyze client & Gainwell QBR ratings, documenting significant changes and preparing presentation materials for the VMO lead.

Develop a staff and support plan for the Microsoft Quarterly Business Review (QBR), identifying relevant contracts, scoring methodology, templates, and responsibilities.

Determine contract administrators for M365, Azure Cloud, and Dynamics; evaluate contracts, and include KPI scorecard for the QBR process.

Develop a staffing plan for Microsoft and Gainwell QBR activities.

Produce a post‑survey analysis report, identifying issues and proposing changes based on QBR survey findings.

Skill to communicate critical updates to executive staff and stakeholders.

Experience managing vendor engagement & support request management.

Previous experience with enterprise‑wide transformational system implementation.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of business process redesign and integration.

Familiarity with data analytics, health informatics, or large‑scale data‑mining system implementation.

Preferred experience in healthcare delivery, health reform, or the health‑insurance industry.
