BCG Attorney Search
A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role offers the opportunity to work with seasoned attorneys in a collaborative environment, focusing on diverse practice areas such as litigation, insurance defense, and civil rights law. The position supports flexible work arrangements and requires periodic travel within the state.
Duties
Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research. Develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients. Prepare pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs. Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Manage the disposition of assigned cases efficiently. Assist in trial preparation and presentation of evidence. Requirements
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in insurance defense or related field. Ability to manage own caseload independently. Strong litigation experience required. Excellent writing and communication skills. Education
Bachelor's degree with J.D. Admission to the Indiana State Bar required. Certifications
Bar admission in Indiana; additional licenses in MI, KY, or IL are a plus. Skills
Strong analytical and research skills. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Flexible work hours with situational telework options. Eight paid holidays plus one floating federal holiday.
