About The Role We're seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing team and manage a caseload of plaintiff‑side personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in litigation (plaintiff or defense), a track record of professional stability, and the desire to take meaningful ownership of their work.

This role offers flexibility to work in-office or remotely (with regular travel to Melbourne, FL for hearings, trials, and team collaboration). It's an opportunity to run your own cases, appear in court, and work closely with a respected trial attorney who is committed to mentoring future leaders in the profession.

Key Responsibilities

Manage personal injury litigation from intake through resolution

Develop litigation strategy and handle all aspects of trial prep

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials

Maintain communication with clients, medical providers, carriers, and opposing counsel

Supervise litigation paralegals and collaborate with the pre‑suit team

Negotiate settlements and oversee post‑settlement processes

Support litigation department KPIs and performance goals

Stay current on legal research and case documentation best practices

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Florida

2-3+ years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff‑side preferred)

Strong legal writing, courtroom, and negotiation skills

Demonstrated sound judgment, attention to detail, and client rapport

Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently

Familiarity with legal case management systems

Comfortable collaborating with a distributed (remote + in‑office) team
