Are you a passionate litigator ready to fast-track your career? We are seeking a driven Associate Attorney eager to gain immediate, hands on experience. At Shegerian & Associates, you won’t be stuck in the back office or buried in document review you’ll be in the courtroom, taking depositions, managing your own docket, and trying cases alongside some of the most respected trial lawyers in California. From day one, you’ll be trusted with real responsibility, mentored by seasoned attorneys, and given the tools to grow into a top trial lawyer. Key Responsibilities
Manage your own docket of employment law cases from inception through trial. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs. Take and defend depositions. Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients. Engage with clients and help shape case strategy. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations. Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable. Qualifications
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar. 1–6 years of litigation experience (employment law preferred). Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines. A strong desire to grow as a trial lawyer and litigator. Experience with trial or trial-prep is a significant plus. What We Offer
