6-month contract assignment Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Trademark Paralegal for a remote 6-month contract assignment with a national company. The position requires the ability to travel periodically to Houston, Texas for training or team meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Patricia (PATRICIA IPMS) and proven ability to manage domestic and international trademark portfolios from end to end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all docketed deadlines. Responsibilities
Manage and audit U.S. and international trademark dockets, including applications, renewals, office actions, TTAB proceedings, enforcement matters, and daily correspondence from agencies and foreign associates Prepare, file, and track submissions (e.g., TEAS forms, Statements of Use, Declarations, Renewals, Madrid filings) under attorney supervision, and liaise with foreign counsel on filings and formalities Support clearance and enforcement activities, including searches, watch notices, cease-and-desist actions, disputes, settlements, coexistence agreements, and online marketplace takedowns Maintain chain-of-title records (assignments, name changes, restructurings) and ensure accuracy of all docket data in Patricia, including reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking Develop and maintain SOPs, escalation procedures, and process improvements to strengthen compliance and data quality Coordinate with vendors and accounting on invoices, accruals, and reconciliations, while partnering with internal teams (brand, marketing, business units) to align trademark filings with organizational goals Qualifications
3+ years of trademark docketing experience in a law firm or corporate legal department Proficiency with Patricia IPMS; familiarity with other IPMS platforms and document management systems preferred Strong knowledge of USPTO and WIPO/Madrid procedures, with experience supporting foreign filings and enforcement workflows (watch services, UDRP, marketplace takedowns) Exceptional accuracy, organizational skills, and communication abilities in deadline-driven environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or comparable reporting tools Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate and/or Notary Public certification a plus Benefits:
