Participate as a team member in the delivery of substance-use disorder services to adult clients and their families. Facilitate the integration of recovery issues into clients’ daily lives. Provide program services ethically, legally, and morally within a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to applicable standards. This Addiction Counselor role involves running a morning Intensive Outpatient Group for adult clients with primary Substance Use Disorder. Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or related field preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training required. Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC) or licensed in Illinois as an LSW or LPC, which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment. Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in computer use and electronic health records. Ability to complete documentation accurately within designated timeframes. Experience in conducting individual, family, and group counseling. Ability to present and coordinate educational sessions for clients, families, staff, and community groups. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to Rosecrance's mission and values. Flexibility to work scheduled hours and additional hours as needed. Conduct counseling and educational sessions, develop treatment plans, and manage client cases. Maintain documentation compliant with regulations. Communicate effectively with staff and clients, and participate in team activities. Exercise confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service. Job Details:

Based on education, experience, and credentials, starting at $21.11/hour for Bachelors and $24.44/hour for Masters, with additional pay for CADC and attendance exceeding monthly averages. Schedule:
10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, 8 am - 6:30 pm with some flexibility. Location:
