In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. **Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Osteoimmunology**A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Park-Min at the Hospital forSpecial Surgery in New York City, USA.Our lab focuses on identifying the pathways that control the formation and activationof osteoclasts, the specialized cells that break down bone, aiming to find better ways toprevent the bone destruction that occurs in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, andosteonecrosis. Ongoing studies include identifying novel players and regulatorymechanisms of osteoclastogenesis and characterizing osteoclast-specific signatures inmetabolic bone diseases. We apply cutting-edge cellular and molecular techniques,including next-generation sequencing, and utilize various mouse models to accomplishour studies. Strong expertise in molecular biologytechniques, biochemical and cell signaling techniques and manipulating genetic mutantmice is preferred. High level of motivation and independence and the ability to thinkcritically are expected.
