If you are driven by a genuine commitment to community engagement and empowerment, and if you bring your heart and dedication to everything you do, this role is for you. Youth Coaches are integral members of the CFSI Team, working directly with at-risk youth in Ulster County to reduce the risk of out-of-home placements. They collaborate with youth and families in their homes and communities to identify strengths, set achievable goals, and foster connections to natural support and supportive networks. Through mentorship, they help youth build independent life skills and strengthen attachments to school, family, and community while linking them to mental health services, substance abuse treatment, employment opportunities, and pro-social activities. Familiar with the community they serve, Youth Coaches understand how Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) impact quality-of-life outcomes and risks for the youth they support. Responsibilities
