UC Irvine The Beckman Laser Institute at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings for postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels 0-IV) for the 2025-26 academic year. Candidate should possess the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting. Experience in molecular biology and cell culture is also desirable. Seeking qualified candidates with experience in the following biomedical engineering fields: Biomedical photonics/optoelectronics Biomedical nano- and microscale systems/fabrication Biomedical computation/modeling Biomolecular and cellular engineering Biomaterials Tissue/regenerative engineering Neuroengineering Systems biology Cardiovascular engineering These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical or optical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology and experience in the field / research areas listed above. Alternatively, candidates can have an M.D. or the foreign equivalent. The salary range for this position is $66,737 - $80,034. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Position Overview : The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
